whilst on an underground theme I thought I would post these snapshots taken in the gift shop of the London Transport Museum where you can find souvenirs, books and reproduction moqeutte items. Created in the 1930's the brief for designing the geometric fabrics for the underground and buses required colours that responded well under artificial light and patterns that would cope with a lot of wear and tear.
