NEW WORK - vicky yorke

Vicky Yorke is a surface pattern designer who has licensed her warm and vibrant designs worldwide across products including fabric, mugs, wall art, luggage, craft products, stationery, home décor, rugs and much more. Today we're looking a Vicky's various projects starting with 'Heritage Cottage' Vicky's latest collection for Camelot Fabrics. The prints were inspired by the Art Nouveau patterns found in English country houses to create a collection that is warm and cosy, but also quietly grand. Vicky has also teamed up with Swaponz on their innovative new phone case and swap pack collections. These are no ordinary phone cases as they are made with a patented material, which means that once the case is fitted to your phone you can quickly switch out the design without any stickiness. Each case comes with a pack of 3 'swaps', with additional swap packs sold separately, meaning you can easily match your phone to your outfit or to your mood. Based in Worcestershire UK, Vicky is delighted to have collaborated with another Worcestershire company, Captivate Brands Ltd. under the collection Siip Fundamental across a collection of 40 new fine china and stoneware mugs. They feature some of Vicky's most popular and on trend designs - from inspirational typography to nature based patterns. Vicky worked closely with Captivate to match her designs to different mug shapes and finishes for a collection that is stylish, fresh and modern. You can find out more about the mug collection here.

Finally, Vicky has exclusively launched a collection of eco-friendly sweatshirts through her website. Available in 6 of Vicky’s favourite everyday designs, plus 3 more with a ‘Christmas jumper’ theme, the gender neutral sweatshirts are only printed once an order is placed, which reduces waste in the production cycle and is better for the planet. Not only that, but each WRAP certified sweatshirt is printed in the UK with ink that is both eco-friendly and vegan.
