i was in top department store john lewis last week where there are so many wonderful departments to see pattern design. if you are in london a visit to john lewis is a must. i browsed in cards & wrap, fabrics, wallpaper, bedlinen, tableware, fashion and gifts and i found beautiful designs in every section. but today im starting with their current window display which picks up with their theme 'make it a vintage summer'. this tea and cake style collection features amongst other things cushions, bird boxes, and a fabulous new exclusive design on portmeirion china called 'secret garden'.
