NEW WORK - sarah watkins

It's very nearly November so I figured it was now just about OK to show a few Christmas designs. Especially as these lovely designs came in from Sarah Watkins. Sarah is a P&P Designers for Hire member who wanted to share some newly created work with us. She has been busy designing for Nerida Hansen's new Atelier, and Sarah has also created a look book of the available prints, with lots more still to come. Nerida Hansen created the Atelier business as she found her clients were wanting to buy designs outright rather than licence them. You can see more from Sarah Watkins online here or via Instagram.

Clients can see more from Nerida Hansen's new Atelier portfolio, which includes Sarah's work online here.

NEW WORK - the tiny garden

Another 'Designers for Hire' member with new work to showcase is Maria Vashchuk of The Tiny Garden StudioMaria's work is inspired by the things around her like nature, travels, her cat, and beautiful books. She has created patterns for products such coffee cups, fabrics, wallpaper, stationery and paper goods. But she has always dreamed of creating pretty designs for children's products. Maria has an extensive portfolio full of designs suitable for kids and baby including floral prints, cute animals, conversational and seasonal prints, and placement graphics. Her work is available for licensing and outright purchase, and she also takes commissions. To see more Maria's work, please visit her Instagram and website here.

KIDS DESIGN - debenhams

I wanted to post some more Autumn Winter kidswear today from the UK high street and found a selection of designs at Debenhams. They've been in the news this month for needing to close some stores for financial reasons which is so sad. I really hope they can continue to go forward and maintain their wonderful in-house designers and art purchasing from freelancers, agencies and studios. Most of these lovely prints are from their Blue Zoo label and a few are branded Mantaray kids, and one is by Lands End.
