lital gold is a textile designer and illustrator from israel who currently lives in philadelphia where she works as a textile designer for urban outfitters subsidiary brand 'free people'. lital recently had a chance to decorate a new free people store with her own artworks (above & below). 
designer linda wood will be showcasing her new card designs this weekend at the spring fair in birmingham. the show takes place at the NEC from february 5th-9th and will consist of around 3000 exhibitors of which over 230 are card publishers. if you're in the area this is the place to see new products and trends. linda wood will be in hall 4 on stand FF93.
laura dro is a freelance designer based in chicago who exhibited at surtex for the first time last year and from there secured her first licensing deal. as well as her pattern design career laura has recently put together a range of artworks for 'trendy tots' which she is currently selling as 8"x 10" prints in her etsy shop 'trendy tot art'.
there are lots of great new card designs in at lagom this spring. including a collection of 8 cards by the wonderful debbie powell, well known for her work with jamie oliver.
there are also 12 new occasion cards from ingela p arrhenius..
and new designs from lagom's founder and creative director kelly hyatt. the petit atelier collection features 16 brand new cards.

i paid a visit to ikea this week in search of a new wardrobe and obviously took a few snapshots whilst i was there. especially of interest were lots of new napkins by design duo edholm ullenius. 'gunga' is their new spring floral series, and they have expanded their beautiful bird print. they are also responsible for the pattern on the cute glass cups.
