SCRAPBOOK - victor fox/kaisercraft

just in time for easter comes the release of 'bubblegum hills' a new scrapbook paper collection from kaisercraft designed by clare miller of victor fox. there are spring butterflies and flowers, easter eggs and bunnies. all the designs in the series can be found online here.

TEXTILES - villa nova

next month sees the launch of a gorgeous new fabric collection from uk company villa nova. called 'nyssa' the prints are scandinavian inspired with a fresh modern feel. the designs are printed on simple off white cotton with a texture to enhance the look and retro feel of these stylish prints. also released at the same time is 'astrid' a collection of co-ordinating weaves. see the full offering online here at villa nova.

CARDS - stacie swift

stacie swift is an illustrator studying a BA in illustration and also developing a small business selling greeting cards and prints. stacie is based in north london where she happily takes on freelance commissions and sells her fun cards on etsy here.

TEXTILES - sanderson : portobello

fiona howard, designer of sanderson's bestselling 'dandelion clocks' collection. has created a brand new design for them as part of their 50's fabrics series. called 'portobello' this fun and fruity pattern is the perfect wallpaper for kitchens and dining rooms and is also available in a metallic, neutral colourway. see the whole new series of fifties designs online here at sanderson. above : a selection of sanderson's new 50's collection.

FABRICS - valentina ramos

miami based designer valentina ramos has been very busy working on these unique bird prints to sell in her etsy shop, and also creating designs for fabric collections at spoonflower. valentina also has one of her prints (an elephant) for sale in urban outfitters which is a terrific achievement.

DESIGNER - jo clark

jo clark graduated from the children's book illustration MA course at cambridge school of art last year, and since then has launched her own greetings card range. jo's cards have been selling very well, but she is always on the look out for suitable new stockists. she recently discovered that one of her designs is the best selling card at the nottingham contemporary gallery. jo's mugs and cards can be found on etsy, noths, and on her own website.

these are the beautiful works of polkka jam a finnish design duo from turku in finland. polkka jam work with illustration, art, graphics, textiles and clothing. in their own words they say "we design. we draw. we print. we cut. we sew. we iron. we pack." i discovered these talented designers on etsy at this store who specialise in finnish design.
