this week saw the UK biggest and best greetings card show take place at the business design centre in islington - progressive greetings live. i visited the show on tuesday and although photography is not allowed several publishers were kind enough to let me take a few snaps. including the very friendly angus gardner at caroline gardner who were showcasing new ranges such as 'wise words' featuring painterly ditsy florals overlaid with elegantly written phrases. if you think you could design a christmas card for caroline gardner then dont forget you can still enter this competition here up until 17th june.
as you would expect from caroline gardner they had a stunning new selection of christmas cards, gift bags and wrapping paper....
one feature of caroline gardner's stand at PG live was an art canvas where all visitors were invited to contribute to the collage. at the end of the show the CG team plan to auction it off and raise money for their favourite charity 'the menigitis trust'.
i was lucky enough to have a go and added this modest flower to represent print & pattern.
