EASTER 2014 - petra boase

If bunnies and chicks are not for you this Easter you could find something much more sophisticated at Petra Boase. Theare six different bird cards in her range, along with a co-ordinating gift wrap would make a very stylish Easter alternative. Each card has a printed design embellished with an embroidered bird that has an iron-on backing so it can be removed from the card and ironed on to a favourite t-shirt, jacket, bag, curtains, etc. Petra also has a fabulous selection of polka dot bags in beautiful colours. NOT ON THE HIGH STREET - petra boase

I love these neon Riso prints from UK designer Petra Boase spotted at Not on the High Street recently. Petra has illustrated all kinds of animals with a beautiful retro feel and used them on A4 prints and greetings cards. Petra is based in Norwich, England where is known for her eclectic products and has previously written books and appeared on television. The business was established in 1999 by Petra, but is now a collaboration between herself and husband Russell.The pair draw on their skills in textile design and Children's book illustration.You can find the Riso prints, cards, party invitations, embroidery patches, party invites and much more online here.

XMAS/GIFT WRAP - petra boase

Petra Boase is well known for her vintage designs and eclectic range of vintage inspired wares. Her Christmas collection looks fab with bright Christmas tree cards and wrap, snowflake decorations, and stylish white paper tree. Also available from Petra's shop at not on the high street are party decorations, paper balloons, cards  stationery, and personal faves of mine Petra's 'alphabet' and 'fifties' wrapping papers.

for some friday fun im posting these lovely new season designs from petra boase. petra has a new website and blog along lots of new goodies to browse in her shop such as patterned tape, wrapping paper for gifts and crafting, and typographic prints.
