for many of you the month of may will mean only one thing : surtex. yes its that time of year again when the worlds biggest print, pattern, and stationery show will be taking place in new york city. this is the exhibition in which to buy or sell designs and pick up on current trends. if you or your studio will be exhibiting this year then please do email me your flyers and any particular designs you want to highlight and the best ones will feature on print & pattern.
i've also been admiring these new wrapping papers from soul uk which feature vintage pottery and frames. some of the designs in the new collection cleverly mix illustration and photography. soul are a british publisher based near oxford and always have a wide range of gorgeous cards and wrap. these designs are in stores now.
next up some snaps of new items just in at british high street stationer wh.smith. there were new brightly patterned ringbinder files, mid year diaries, and a lovely new £1 card range.
