PRINT THEME - foxes

im following my post on victor fox with a whole fox themed post. have you noticed how many of them there are around lately? so if you are looking for something to illustrate why not have a go at your interpretation of a fox. i love the fluid lines on the above design from super talented swedish designer ann granlund whose blog is always fascinating. below a typically brilliant illustration from michelle romo.

ILLUSTRATION - ingrid lavoie

ingrid lavoie is an illustrator who graduated from the rhode island school of design. ingrid works in the cut paper style of 'scherenschnitte' (german for scissor cuts). you can see some examples of her works online here.

DESIGNER - abby eisenbacher

abby eisenbacher has plenty of design experience (working as an art director at mara-mi) and is skilled in trend forecasting, surface design and photo styling. abby also has her own website portfolio here where she showcases some of her design collections.

STATIONERY - smock paper

i love these noteblocks from smock paper which are actually sticky notes. the new york based company specialise in letterpress invitations and cards and also have gorgeous patterns on wrapping papers in some interesting colour schemes.

JAPANESE - ginko

if you are thinking of getting a japanese calendar or schedule diary for 2011 then you should take at look at the lovely items at ginko. my favourites are these cute embroidered images in a sturdy plastic cover. as seen online here.
