brandi powell is a freelance illustrator and pattern designer specialising in quirky characters, spot illustration and repeat patterns. brandi graduated with a BA degree in Graphic Design & Fine Art in 2008, and her inspiration comes from nature, vintage children's books and retro design, specifically the 1950's - 1970's. brandi says her body of work is split into two distinct categories; playful patterns, which are youthful and focus on unique characters and everyday themes, and nature and geometrics which are geared toward the adult market. you can see much more from brandi online here.

uk high street store Wilkinson have recently launched two new stationery ranges for summer 2013. the first is a classic seaside theme in sweet ice cream pastels featuring beach huts, seagulls, colourful typography and an ice cream van. as seen online here.
