Now it's December it feels officially time to start reporting on Christmas designs. The shops are stuffed full with seasonal greetings cards and I wanted to bring some of the highlights from here in the UK. We start with John Lewis and in particular their own branded greetings cards. The card designs fit into John Lewis' key themes Christmas this year which include Folklore, Lima Llamas, Into the Woods and Tales of the Maharajah. In stores and online now.
Kayo Aoyama is a designer based in Tokyo,Japan. Kayo studied Pattern Design at the University of Gothenberg in Sweden. Since 2012 Kayo has been working as a freelance designer and one of her clients is Nunocoto Fabrics for whom she has designed some of the beautiful prints shown here. Kayo loves working with organic forms and enjoys the shapes and lines of nature.
