Stephanie Thorne is a designer based in Auckland, New Zealand who started her career here in homewares in 2009. Surface pattern design had always been her passion and when she realised this could become a career in her final year of university she decided to go for it and hasn't looked back since. Stephanie moved to London and worked in the fashion industry for a few years as graphic and textile designer for Daks before moving to Melbourne where she worked for Peter Alexander. After having her first child Stephanie moved back to Auckland and continued working in fashion for children's retailer Pumpkin Patch. Stephanie now works as a designer across a variety of products as well as working on her own design projects. She is available for freelancing opportunities and collaborations and can be found online here and on instagram.

Last week I featured The Hornbill Studio had created a collection for Clarke & Clarke's Studio G, so felt it would be a great chance to highlight some more of their wonderful fabric designs.With its dynamic and innovative approach to design, Clarke & Clarke officially launched the fresh style-savvy Studio G brand in 2016 to create contemporary fashionable designs for the mid sector of the interior furnishings market. Here are highlights from their current fabrics collections including a Scandi Folk collection called 'Wilderness' and the brand new botanical range 'Roof Garden'.
