Today I have some more of my AW2018 kidswear research, and this time I have scoured the rails at Next. I was pleased to see there was still plenty of colour on offer and not just lots of brown and 'fall' shades. Unicorns and rainbows have continued from Summer and there were all kinds of animals and fun typography. Here are my top print picks from what's in store and online so far....
Alice Palace recently launched a new collection of 12 blank greetings cards. They were produced from a series of hand created patterns. The designs are bright and bold and suitable for any occasion. The whole set can be bought for £10 including free delivery (UK) making them perfect for a Thinking of You card and the chance to send out some happy post. Sabina Wroblewski Gustrin is a Swedish illustrator and print designer living on a picturesque island outside of Stockholm. She is currently participating in Natalie Primus Williamson's Folio Focus course featuring mystical motifs. She has designed greetings cards and notebooks that can be found for sale in the National Museum of Stockholm, and this Autumn will see the launch of her first range of homewares. A passion for beautiful patterns and illustrations are the force behind Sabina's creativity, and she is influenced by Scandinavian nature and folk art.
