We start the week with a big showcase of fashion prints. They were all spotted in department store Camp Hopson who stock a wide range of designer labels including Gerry Webber, Masai, Seasalt, Hobbs, Benetton and more. Here is part one of my print round-up starting with some lovely painted florals
I loved this bird design spotted on fabric and teatowels at the Jolee Fabrics Etsy shop, and so I thought I would browse their shop for this weeks Friday eye candy post.
Talking of fabrics this festive print caught my eye at Alchemy & Fabric on Etsy. Called 'Driving Home for Christmas' I liked the clever colour palette that was fun but not obviously too Christmassy.
Designer, author, and illustrator Kristen Balouch has just had her new children's book published by Cameron Books. If You Are the Dreamer is a sweet ode to togetherness. "If you are the squirrel, I am the tree. If you are the traveller, I am the sea. Written in simple poetic language, a child is reassured that no matter what or where they are, they will never be alone. Kristen has so far published 8 books for children and collaborated on projects such as exclusively designed toys and furniture for the Guggenheim Museum. Kristen has teamed up with various licensing partners including creating collections for Birch Fabrics. She splits her time between a tiny top-floor apartment in Brooklyn and a farmhouse in the Adirondacks.
