this is the wonderful work of london based designer justine ellis. justine creates screen printed cushions, tote bags, cards, tea towels and more for her etsy and folksy shops as well as numeous craft markets. i love her cable knit patterns and the lovely textures on the birds below .

mini moderns are about to launch a new collection in 2011 - 'festival' wallpaper which celebrates the enduring influence of the 1951 festival of britain. the exciting post-war exhibition of the new wave of modern british design will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2011 and the wallpaper will be launched to coincide with this important cultural landmark. mini moderns creative directors keith stephenson and mark hampshire have been collecting "festival of britain" memorabilia for over 20 years so for them its a real labour of love. "festival" is available in 3 colourways, concrete & mustard, bunting blue & red and stone & harvest orange.

designer belen gomez studied ceramics at camberwell school of art and crafts and ran her own ceramic studio for ten years. recently she fulfilled an ambition to work with the amazing potteries at stoke on trent and to decorate staffordshire china. these rustic designs are her first collection, and were inspired by belen's pen drawings influenced by her allotment and country walks. cards are also available and all can be seen online here.
