I thought we might need a little bit of Spring print today to brighten up a cold January. These are the first of the new SS18 arrivals just in at Marks & Spencer in childrenswear. Glad to see Cacti continuing to make a strong appearance as they are a fun motif for artists to work with.
In womensswear there was a black, pink and green theme....
And finally here are some snaps from the M&S card department...
P&P is back for 2018 and we need to hit the ground running as Heimtextil opens today in Germany. This major home decor show for manufacturers and designers runs from 9th to the 12th January in Frankfurt. One of the studios attending is Jennifer Nelson Artists who will be showcasing gorgeous new print designs in Europe for the first time. Jennifer sent over some flyers and we start with Jana Krupinski (above) and Jill Howarth (below).

Another fab studio who will be a Heimtext today is Jane Mosse Designs who will be showing wonderful new work by a collection of artists in Hall 4.2 on Stand F15.
Below : B'o Bei Co will be on stand A07 with La Fabrique and Florinda Sandi Studio.
Below : Finally, not a print studio, but I received a flyer from a manufacturer Gohar Textile in Hall 10.1.
New designs will also be on show in London this month with Top Drawer taking place at Olympia from 14th-16th January. One of those exhibiting will be Noi Publishing who'll be launching lots of colourful new greetings cards, wrapping papers, and stationery. I especially love their new children's age cards. Noi have also been nominated as a finalist in the 2018 Paper Awards for 'Exciting use of colour'. The winners will be showcased in a special stand at the heart the Top Drawer show.
Solveig Makaretz of Trosko Design will be showing new designs at Heimtextil in Frankfurt today. She will be represented by Nerida Hansen in Hall 4.2 on stand F48.
