the new orla kiely spring summer 2012 collection has just gone online and there are three striking new bag prints. the first is a shadow stem print which to me is a real return to form using bright colours and glossy oilcloth. the second is a smaller shadow stem print in a stylish 'lichen' colour. the third print is from the more exclusive mainline collection but i hope it will appear elsewhere eventually (maybe on stationery or homewares) and is called square flower. see all of the new season orla kiely products online here.
glasgow based designer clare nicolson has a brand new summer collection due for release in april. the graphic prints were inspired by vintage ceramics and 1960's textiles. clare's designs are also available now at society6 on iPhone cases, canvas prints, framed prints, and iPhone/ipod skins.
