I thought I would just drop in and see what was new at ferm LIVING. I was pleased to find designs from Ingela P Arrhenius on kitchen napkins and boards, and a cute cat poster for children. Also catching my eye were the bold geometrics of the Maya range (above & below) on cushions and wall art.
Designer and illustrator Emma Haines of Cut & Stick has recently joined the excellent Lemon Ribbon Studio as one of their Freelance Baby and Children's Graphic Designers. Here are some examples of her latest works and you can see why she is so suited to designing for babies with her soft colours and shapes and cute friendly faced characters. Emma is based in the UK in the Midlands and has just finished a baby book series including the Forest, Baby Animals, The Farm and The Garden. You can see more from Emma online here.
Talking of new work designer Joy Laforme has recently added some beautiful new florals to her portfolio. Featuring a mix of artworks and repeat patterns it captures a colourful Spring feel. Joy also has some striking black & white safari themed designs in the Spring 2016 range at Galison.
A new week begins with fresh designs from boutique Oliver Bonas. This UK design led retailer has 51 shops across the country and a lovely online store. New arrivals for Spring Summer 2016 include beautiful packaging on soaps and toiletries, typographic wall art, geometric cushions, painterly greetings cards, and a Memphis style notebook.
