It's the time of year when various Summer design schools are opening - and the Make it in Design Summer School will start on July 29th.
Summer School is an exciting global online design event that gives you experience working to Spring/Summer trend-inspired briefs, helps build your portfolio, connect with other designers and gives you the opportunity to get your work published!
Make it in Design have welcomed thousands of students to Summer School over the last six years, and have had the pleasure of helping designers all over the world to keep their summers energized, fun, and filled with creativity!

NEW COLLECTION - aimée wilder

Designer Aimée Wilder has launched The Eudaimonia collection. Featuring wallpaper and textiles the collection references the alignment of the earth, sun and moon with patterns that reflect balance and inner peace. Evoking the cosmic harmonies between sun, earth, and moon, the prints reflect the search for a more balanced way of life and was inspired by Aimée’s own Vedic meditation and natural-healing practices, which have helped her create a more peaceful environment for living.  Pyramide du Soleil (above) is based on ancient ideas of the earth’s passage through sun and shadow. This subtle, optically charged pattern integrates pyramids and circles with sophisticated diagonals and horizontal stripes. 17 colorways explore a ceaseless play of light and color. You can also see the Earthlight in this post which is named after the phenomenon in which sunlight reflecting off the earth’s surface diffusely illuminates the dark side of the moon. Waxing and waning moon cycles are arranged in an eye-catching geometric chart reminiscent of ikat dye patterning.
Pyramide du Soleil and Earthlight are available as wallpaper, and, new to Aimée Wilder, as commercial-grade jacquard fabrics. These durable fabrics exceed industry standards for wear and abrasion, and are available to both commercial and residential clients in a range of custom and stock colours. Coming soon to round out the collection will be accessories such as yoga bolsters, pillows, and poufs. Visit aimeewilder.com for more
