I had a lot of fun researching Spring/Summer 2021 childrenswear designs this year. But as we head towards August I really need to get them posted up for us all to enjoy before all the Autumn arrivals start trickling in. All these placement prints and patterns were spotted in UK fashion retailer Matalan.
We have a brand new entry in the Designers for Hire Directory today. Sarah Ossitt is the artist behind Sazerelli Designs. Originally born and bred in Lancashire, Sarah has been living in Sydney, Australia for 15 years.
She loves making patterns that are bold and colourful, often with florals as the focus. Sarah is hugely inspired by colour, especially the vibrant colours of nature. She and 5 year old like to go on flower hunts and take pictures of all the colourful finds. Sarah works by making sketches with pen and paper with a cup of tea in hand, and later moves on to digitising.
She feels colour is a great way to add fun into everyday items and she would love to see her designs on fabric, stationery, giftwrap, teacups and pyjamas!
She also sells greeting cards and gifts in her online shop. Sarah is looking to licence designs from her portfolio and would be very happy to work on any commissions.
