JAPANESE - soda tape

I'm still looking at Japan for beautiful designs and following on from yesterday we have Soda tape. Unlike conventional washi tape Soda is transparent - opening up a whole load of new uses on cellophane packaging, plastic bottles etc. There are lots of great prints from bright florals to abstract geometrics. I found these tapes through Google Japan but you can also find various Soda tapes online at Etsy. 

JAPANESE - kitta tapes

Having been away for a while I thought we'd go for some pure design eye candy today. If you've been with P&P for a while you'll know I love to search on Google Japan from time to time and see what pops up in stationery or homeware. This time I came across Kitta - little packs of tape and stickers. The idea is to have a convenient way to carry washi tapes around with you and unlike a roll they are flat packed and pre-cut so you don't need scissors. But the real fun here is discovering the design themes and styles and the way the way they work to together in a set.
