it seems ironic that the week bird flu arrives in britain birds are declared the trendiest motif in pattern design. images of birds are already prolific in designer circles but now should make the transition to high street. expect to see lots more avian designs next season and into 2007.07 April 2006

thanks barb,i can try to let you know where i gathered these images from : the black & white design is a candle votive from the dotcomgiftshop.com - the green & brown cushions/pillows are by clarenicholson.com, as is the little spotty swatch. the pink/yellow/orange design is a tea towel by atelier lzc. the blue bird is from driade, the illustration of 2 birds (cardinal courtship) is by 50's american illustrator charles harper. and finally im sorry but im not sure about the blue and pink ceramic figurines. :)
