im going to dedicate the next two days on print & pattern to illustration. ive got 10 artists so far that i'd love to feature, so i hope to do 5 today & another 5 tommorow so as not to cause excitment/information overload. first up its the fun & colourful work of yamauchi kazuaki.

Oh, the hen in the second picture is very reminiscent of Eric Carle's illustration style. Gorgeous, vibrant illustrations - can't wait to see your next few faves.
I adore the graphic animals, they look like wood cuts or maybe an intricate potato!
