finally my 'where to buy' guide ends with a really cool store that is pretty much only known to professionals. situated just off oxford street (londons premier shoping location) near to topshop and urban outfitters is fashion book shop RD franks. primarily for fashion and textile designers this is great shop for books and magazines. you can find specialist fashion and home titles from all over the world on the magazine racks, so if you're looking for the lastest tokyo trends, or milan style, this the place. they also offer subscriptions and ship all over the world. you can browse books on all sorts of textiles and graphics or order online. RD franks is at kent house, 14-17 market place, london.

I could stuck in this bookshop for hours! great coverage of bookshops there. It really made me want to visit them.
I'm swooning with envy. But now I know for sure that when Bowie recommends a book, it must really stand head and shoulders above all the others, cos there's SO MUCH to choose from.
