all the latest trends in motifs are covered here at dixie on cute little votives; there are birds, stags, trees, baroque, and lace. this selection are my faves.
yes i did visit several branches of anthropolgie in nyc and san fran (theres a post below with my snaps in ) i liked it a lot, but found it quite expensive. i didnt get to target as i was staying in city centres with no car. overall i loved the stores in the US and most were cheaper than in the UK, but this could be the $2 to a pound exchange rate. i especially enjoyed the cards & wrapping paper designs.
I can't believe how weak the dollar is right now, even the exchange rate difference from euro to dollar was tough for me to swallow while I was in Germany. I felt scared to shop (rare!).
Oh yes, Anthropologie is expensive. I usually hit their sales racks or buy the little under $100 items they have in thier home department. I found a needlepoint pillow there last week marked down to $17 so I scored.
I am so happy you are back though, I missed your blog posts!

these are great!
by the way, did you step into a target or anthropologie while you were over here? What did you think overall of stores and design here in the states?
Bowie, you must be one of the most energetic bloggers around. It really is great to have you back. (I think I keep saying this - I must mean it!)
