you can learn all about emma bridgewater and her ceramics in this great new book by well respected ceramics expert steven jenkins. inside there are hundreds of photos of bridgewater designs past and present making it ideal for collectors. for designers its fascinating to read about how emma started the business and how she achieved sucess, talking about trade shows and early methods of marketing. credit should also be given to emma's husband designer matthew rice (they met at top drawer) who has worked closely with bridgewater over the years. he produces wonderful illustrations in a talent possibly inherited from his mother the legendary designer pat albeck. i recommend this book to anyone involved in pattern design or ceramics. click here for amazon or online from bridgewater.
