BRIDGEWATER - boxes

when you buy a piece of bridgewater in the shop or pottery cafe you can get it gift boxed (£1.99 for a mug). they are the most fantastic boxes with spotted lids and bright fuscia pink with orange tissue paper. i keep mine and use them to store bits & pieces in, along with the polka dot tinware which is terrific value for money at £6.00 for the rectangular one. see online for the full range of patterns. all these pretty boxes puts me in mind of the slogan i saw in the window of heals this weekend. its definately my motto !

These Emma Bridgewater post are so great. We have a painted pottery place here in berkeley, CA and it's loads of fun to visit but I confess I haven't been there since my daughter was young. She's 12 now and perhaps it's time to paint a new set of mugs. thanks for the inspiration.
