this week is kids week here on P+P and i'll be looking at all types of pattern & surface design for children. after the sucess of 'book week' last month i thought it would be nice to have another themed week. but dont worry if you're not into childrens design - its still going to be stylish & inspiring. we are off to a great start with lorena siminovich who proves the point that childrens art can be sophisticated and stylish for adults but still very appealing to little people. lorena produces two ranges of illustrations : kids digital & kids collage. they are so beautiful that you need not just limit them to the nursery wall - they would look fantastic in any room. find out more and see lifestyle shots at petit collage, see lorena's archive on flickr, her gallery at velocity, or her illustration site.big apologies for lack of posts yesterday - i forgot i was going to be out the 'london design week' exhibition. full report next week.
