Beautiful. Especially love the hearts in the birds' tails, and how using colour he manages to get so much movement into that essentially static butterfly design. Wow. I'm going to gaze at these more and see what I can learn...

yay sean sims! he's my flickr friend too + reads/comments on my blog + i've featured some of his illustrations. he's a full time dad to a little boy. i agree he's amazingly talented. i'm so excited to see him featured on print + pattern
