firstly i need to apolgise for yesterdays lack of posts but i experienced some technical difficulties. but a quick purchase from google last night of more storage space and we're up and running again. recently ive been thinking about character design and my research led me to japanese company aranzi aronzo . you'll probably know them through their popular 'cute' book (see the next post), but their range goes much further than just felt dolls. the cute characters can be found on tableware, stationery and all manner of goods - see the store in english here.

oh man, there was a huge section of aronzo's goods in Loft, a housewares/paper goods/music store chain (best store EVER) and I bought a TON of stuff there, a bunch of those little lidded cups (great for pudding!) and notebooks, and more. SO adorable, totally worth spending some money on if you're ever in Japan. Loft is a chain and you can find em in major cities - Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo; possibly elsewhere?
thanks for this useful info k - sounds good, when i finally get to tokyo i will put 'loft' on my list for sure.
everything in this blog is so cute....
cute but some of them especially the bunnys kinda resemble "Nijntje"

Hiya. I love your blog, and used to read it daily on LiveJournal using their syndicated feed service (http://www.livejournal.com/syn/). I was without internet for a few months and now that I'm back I realize the feed is no longer working. I don't know enough about Blogger to sort it out, but I'd love to read Print and Pattern on LJ again! Thanks.
I loved your blog!!
Colors are attracting me :))
I will try to visit often.
Best Wishes.
soooooo adorable!
p.s. only a little bit of the top of your blog header is displaying.
It is so funny when I see these, I spent some of my childhood in Hawaii and this look from Japan was everwhere in all the toys I played with, kinda funny how none of it has changed....
thanks everyone.
cinco, the rss feed is turned off at the moment for security reasons.
apolgies. hope to be back on soon.
