today im having a day celebrating the designs of emma bridgewater. emma is one of my design heroes, and heres why, she has done exactly what i would dream about doing - creating and selling her patterns on a wide range of products under her own brand. there's another reason why i personally collect bridgewater pottery too, and that is the quality, if you've actually held a piece you'll know what i mean. bridgewater is one of the few design products i know that is still made in england at their factory in hanley, stoke-on-trent. i would like to thank bridgewater pottery for their new kind sponsorship of print & pattern. please enjoy all today's posts and if you want to check out the online shop you can click the picture link on the top left anytime you like.
