exciting news today of a great new book you will surely want to add to your pattern collection. 'pattern design - applications & variations' by lou andrea savoir is published by rockport. it features many of the designers that we know and love such as julia rothman, hanna werning, dan fundeburg, lena corwin, and amy ruppel. the book itself is not huge, but the photos do fill the entire page and the text is minimal, just the way i like it. all the relevant websites are shown along with a profile for each designer in a seperate section at the back. all in all a thoroughly recommended book that will not disapoint. click here to see on amazon usa, or here for amazon uk.

what a fabulous book!
someone brought this book to my fabric printing class the other day. It has a different cover look here, and the contents are exactly like you described. Truly visual treats for me. :)
