still working my way through the print & pattern bookshop - and if you were thinking of getting russian textiles by susan meller but wondered what it was like inside - here we are. obviously being a look at vintage russian fabrics there is a lot of red, but the motifs could certainly be adapted and interperated by todays designers. this book is more for those who design fabrics and wallpaper than those into cards,type or graphics but as with all design, influences can come from anywhere. the format of the book is large and the pictures are big and of great quality. see it here on amazon usa and here on amazon uk.
