fishs eddy, famous for their tableware, is a great place to pick up stylish gifts to take home as souvenirs. located at 889 broadway, just over the road from ABC carpet and home, who incidentally had a fantastic card an stationery dept - unfortunately the shop assistant in ABC watched me like a hawk and it was impossible to get any pictures. do check it out though if you are shopping new york at 888 broadway. thankfully fishs eddy was a lot more relaxed and i spied lots of lovely designs.
