signs & symbols in the fourth book in the series 'communicating with pattern' by keith & mark of absolute zero degrees. its also my favourite of the four, although i have really enjoyed them all. this latest one is obviously more varied as all manner of motifs are covered. if you havent seen these sourcebooks before they are collections of photographs and images that show the wide use of pattern across all disciplines from graphics, packaging, textiles, products etc. below are two page spreads from signs & symbols by mark hampshire & keith stephenson published by rotovision. see the whole set here on amazon uk or amazon usa.

wow - you have all four! How great! and what an honour to have them all featured. Signs and Symbols is our current favourite too (though this changes all the time) - and we managed to have my design hero Lance Wyman write the foreword.
Many thanks to everyone who took part in the whole series as I know there are a lot of readers of Print Pattern and contributors to this blog who are peppered throughout them all. Thanks again for the feature. They have sold 200,000 copies each worldwide - so you should be able to track them down - also buying from Amazon is pretty good as they sometimes bundle them at a very good price too. They were hard to research but ultimately enjoyable.
Very best wishes
