i was in paris last week and im busy posting up all the snapshots i took in the stores there. today its the turn of paris' oldest department store 'le bon marche' located in the rue de sevres on the rive gauche (left bank). it became a department store in 1850 and the current building dates from 1867. its worth a visit alone just to see the stunning interior. the card department is fabulous and they have an incredibly stylish childrens book and gift dept next door. i took quite a few pictures so ive split the posts up into three to make it more manageable. starting off with my faves mini labo and fifi mandirac.

You are an inspiration! Thank you for sharing these glimpses at what's happening in stores. It's so far for us Aussies to travel to get a peek at this sort of thing! I love the Mini LaBo stuff. I would not be able to resist buying some!
ive just realised that the fourth pic down of the cat playing guitar 'la la la' isnt mini labo
