the next shop featured is moeti, a lovely little card shop in the rue dauphine. its quite easy to find this street as it is straight over the pont neuf (paris' oldest bridge) on the left bank. the shop owner at moeti was so kind and friendly and spoke great english. brands stocked included fifi mandirac, claire fontaine, and ecojot. apart from cards they had a good selection of gifts and stationery. jot down 30 rue dauphine in your paris address book and you're sure to find something interesting in here.

This bird theme it appears is a major international trend. Cute bird designs are so trendy her in Oregon right now and it appears to be the case in Paris right now as well.
Thanks so much for the great pics!
i am loving these paris posts, as i have always wanted to go there im really glad of the insight to some fab shops
I was really surprised to see the traditional (and colorful) "Lembrança do Senhor do Bonfim Bahia Brasil" being sold in Paris. These are traditional souvenirs one can buy in a specific church in Brasil, and give away as gifts. They are supposed to bring good luck to the ones who wear them (as bracelets), granting them 3 wishes until the day the bracelets are naturally torn. cheers from Brasil!
those birds hanging in the window are wonderful! i want to do that in my house now. :)
