something important is happening today in the USA - in case you havent heard they're electing the "leader of the free world", and although we cant vote in the UK it will directly effect us. in true print & pattern style we are also concerned with the design aspect, and here are a small selection of vintage american graphics. if you're creating something patriotic all you need is stars, stripes, and a good dose of red, white and blue. good luck to all our american readers who are voting today.

Yeah... it affects us all and yet we have no say in it. Sigh! Fingers crossed the 'right' decision is made tomorrow :)
I cannot wait in about an hour to cast my vote for Barack Obama!! This country of mine is in dire need of change and not another Republican in office!!

I woke up bright and early at 6am when the NY polls opened. My fingers are crossed our new leader will change things for the better.
