WALLPAPER - barbara hulanicki

sadly i'll only be posting on print & pattern today as i'll be away for the rest of this week. but i will be back on monday 15th december. im taking a few days off to work on my book so a lot of concentration is called for. hope to see you all back here next monday.
fashion designer barbara hulanicki, famous for creating 'biba' in the 1960's, has designed a collection of wallpapers for graham & brown.

I'll play devil's advocate...I just see recycled art nouveau patterns here. Straight out of a book I have. What am I missing that everyone else is seeing?

I love these patterns. Particularly the black and white ones. I could just picture that wall with the contrast of a lamp with a rich red drum lamp shade. Makes me drool!!!
