EASTER DESIGN - sainsbury's p.o.s
im back from my week away, where i was working on the print & pattern book project. as it will be good friday this week and the start of the easter holiday we need to pack in a lot of easter designs. starting this morning with a look around sainsbury's who have put a lot of effort into their seasonal collection. to begin with im posting from the various point of sale designs that appear on display stands, in windows, on shelf edging, posters, etc. the theme is cute characters and eggs stitched from felt and gingham. maybe they were inspired by the handmade and etsy scene ?

how gorgeous ...takes me back to the felt critters [ I think they were called fuzzy felts in NZ] I used to play with as a kid, forever moving them into new positions and ways of being. Nice memory.. Many thanks. Happy Easter
Button on the eggs! I loved it- so cute!!!!!! I think I'll make plush egss and decorate the fabric with buttons.
