its the final day of my ikea photo report (although i still have the student show to post next week). these gorgeous geometric folk type patterns were spotted on aprons in the household department. the patterns are bright and fun but still maintain their scandinavian cool. dont forget, if you have seen something this week that you wanted to buy, that the new ikea catalogue comes out in august - so it could be that some of these designs may soon disappear.

I think your Ikea gets different prints than we have here in the USA. I love those aprons, but I was just at Ikea 3 days's ago and they didn't have these.
thats a shame about the aprons - but i would just say for anyone looking for these in stores - they are not in the kitchen dept but are instead in the household/ laundry area with cleaning products, clothes pegs etc.
This blog has been recommended in the Folksy forum. Wow! This means I now have to make a special trip to Ikea tomorrow! Fantastic stuff - I love the button fabric!

beautiful folksy designs.....hope we have those here in US.I have always been impressed by the design talent at ikea...and so reasonable too.
