NEW DESIGNERS - graduates

next up designs for interiors and lampshades from sinead mitchell. sinead and 8 other textile students travelled to london from galway in the west of ireland for new designers. and it was well worth it as sinead won the 'christy carpets associate prize'. you can contact sinead at mitchell.sinead@googlemail.com

finally today its the work of paul roden whose textile designs won him the 'BDC new designer of the year award'. a mature student at the glasgow school of art and a former musician, paul drew on images of the fairground, american allstars, the seventies, and iconic motifs which he applied to luxurious silks and velvet devouré. contact paul at paulroden@sky.com
