two designers whose work we've often admired here on print & pattern have been nominated in the british design awards. up for the "British Surface Design of the Year 2009" are the excellent absolute zero degrees with their 'omega' wallpaper, and fiona howard with her 'dandelion clocks' wallpaper for sanderson. you can place your vote and check out all the other entries here. other nominees include abigail borg, louise body, and linda florence.
i thought it was also worth mentioning these decorative dishes from industrial facility who are nominated for British Design of the Year. place your votes here.

As a self funded tiny company at absolute zero degrees - this is such an important nomination for us - and a real honour. Obviously the Sanderson wallpaper is also beautiful - so please vote for either of us :)

Thanks for the mention - I agree with Keith it's a real honour to be nominated against such huge companies.
Fingers crossed for November !
