i wanted to post up a few snapshots of a little gift i received at christmas, another iron-on pad from chronicle books. called 'iron me on' its a collection of illustrations, patterns and typography from brooklyn based designer mike perry. besides his fabulous talent for creating graphics mike is also well known for his books 'over & over' and 'hand job'. iron me on contains 30 sheets of heat transfers and can be seen here on amazon uk or amazon usa.

i love these Mike perry prints and tried to make some t-shirts with my son. However they washed off. Very sad for poor Mylo. He'll have too be happy will paul frank tees. What is a hipster baby to do?
oh thats a shame, i have two iron on books now but as a design fan i just keep them to look at - so i have no knowledge of how they actually perform.
i always thought i'd like them on a tote bag as that wouldnt require much washing.
wooohoo i got this book in secondhand shop in lithuania haha, best event of the day :D tote bag is great idea, probably i will make some, although i was visualizing some t-shirts in my head, but i'm afraid stickers will wash off :/
