i received an interesting book in the post the other day from the very generous people at rotovision. the digital brushes sourcebook by emily portnoi is perfect for anyone that uses adobe illustrator and want to get to grips with what the pattern brush tool can do. there is also a cd of 300 royalty free brushes and instructions on how to make yout own. see it here on '>amazon uk or '>amazon usa.

Do you know if the brushes in this book can be used for commercial use purposes?

it says inside the book that the
brushes on the disc are 'royalty free'.
there are no detailed legal descriptions of what you can and cant do with the brushes on the disc or in the book - but as it says
'royalty free' then i take this to mean they can be used for anything.
Yes, you can use the brushes on the disc for absolutely anything. I know that some of the brushes have already been used to create wedding invitations, business cards and website background.
