crate & barrel at 611 broadway is the place to go for elegant homewares. they also have a wonderful relationship with marimekko stocking their bedlinen, curtains, etc and using large swathes of their fabric to decorate the store displays. hence i took lots of pictures of marimekko's tuliainen by pia holm. if you are in NY for inspiration and trend shopping this little area of broadway is perfect as you can do crate & barrel, urban outfitters, cb2, and spring street all in one go.
