this autumn heals will also be celebrating 60 years of finnish textile brand marimekko. during london design week, which takes place between 17th-25th september, there will be a large marimekko pop up shop opening at heals tottenham court road store. at the press show last week heals showcased highlights such as these beautiful sanna annukka cushions and a new marimekko craft book - 'surrur'. the pop up shop will also provide the opportunity to view the large fabric owl featured in the book which will be flown in to heals from finland especially for the festival. there will also be a marimekko lecture by henrietta thompson and ticket details for the talk will be announced nearer the time.

I really love love love marimekko. They've made their own way, they have a different style, that still seems modern!!
