just along from john lewis on oxford street is house of fraser where top retail adviser mary portas has just opened her own lifestyle department. uk readers may be following the tv series on channel 4 'mary queen of frocks' the second episode of which went out last night. the homewares part of the shop when i visited this week had greetings cards and books by arthouse meath, and embroidered napkins by molly mac, as well as a varied selection of notebooks that looked french or korean. here are a few snapshots and there is much more online.
