marimekko are celebrating the fact that helsinki will be the world design capital in 2012 with a new commemorative collection of products and gifts. "moments of life in helsinki" consists of bags, trays, tea towels, mugs, cushions and of course fabrics. the first one showcased is a print by per-olof nyström called 'helsinki-helsingfors'.
also featured below are two co-ordinating prints "puistotie" and "metropoli" by design duo hanna-kaisa korolainen & paavo halonen.
